How THE FAD collects, uses and protects the information you share with us. Last updated: draft — pending legal review.
This is a draft template, written to give the site a complete, honest starting point. Before launch, have a lawyer review it against your actual data practices, jurisdiction and any app-store requirements.
To calculate your FAD Score, we collect the information you choose to log: meals (typed or photographed), sleep duration and quality, alcohol intake, exercise, and stress or lifestyle inputs. If you connect a wearable, we also receive the health metrics that device shares with us.
Your logged data is used to calculate your daily and rolling FAD Score, generate personalised recommendations, and improve our scoring model over time. Meal photos may be processed by an image-recognition service to estimate nutritional and inflammatory signals.
We don't sell your personal health data to advertisers. We don't share your individual logs with employers, insurers, or any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app. If you're in a region with specific data protection rights (such as the EU's GDPR or California's CCPA), those rights apply to your account in full — details will be finalised alongside legal review.
