Taking the useful parts of extreme biomarker tracking without needing a lab in your bathroom.

Public longevity protocols — extensive daily supplement stacks, dozens of tracked biomarkers, rigid schedules — are fascinating to read about and, for almost everyone, impractical to copy wholesale. That doesn't mean there's nothing useful in them.
Strip away the extremes and most of these protocols rest on the same handful of levers: consistent sleep, whole-food eating patterns, regular movement, and monitoring a few numbers over time rather than reacting to any single reading. Those are exactly the categories THE FAD tracks — just without requiring a home lab.
There's a real risk in taking any tracking practice too far: checking a score multiple times a day, treating small fluctuations as emergencies, or letting the number dictate mood. THE FAD's rolling 7-day average is deliberately designed to work against that impulse — a single day is noise, a pattern over a week is signal.
The goal isn't to imitate anyone's extreme routine. It's to borrow the underlying logic — track a few honest signals, look at trends, adjust gradually — at a level of effort that's actually sustainable.
